I was born and raised in a family of artists and was surrounded by very creative influences in Gdansk, Poland. After graduating from the Fine Art School of Gdynia-Orlowo, I moved to New York City to study photography at the School of Visual Arts. It was when I settled in the Hudson Valley that I rediscovered my deep love for nature and its beauty.
As a photographer, Iām drawn to the fleeting emotions that our surroundings evoke. I believe that every walk we take can offer a different experience, influenced by the time of day, our mood, and our unique perspective. My work aims to capture these drifting moments, allowing us to open up to a wide range of feelings. I use my photographs as a springboard to connect with familiar elements in nature. Using mixed-media, I further encapsulate the natural beauty, inviting you to engage in a different way.
Through my art, I try to highlight the beauty in the small details of our everyday environment - those fleeting images we often miss without thinking. By adjusting the composition or simply tilting my lens, I encourage you to see the world from a fresh angle, an invitation to experience the many emotions that come from such changes in perspective.
Each piece reflects my journey in discovering the complex connection between our surroundings and our feelings. My hope is to inspire you to take a moment and appreciate the ordinary, revealing the extraordinary moments that exist in our everyday lives.
I hope you will join me on my exploration of perception and emotion.
